Pay: $20.00- $21.00/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 6am - 2:30pm

• Properly handles chemicals per SDS and uses the proper personal protection equipment
• Upon dismissal of a patient, in addition to the above, strip the room, properly dispose of linen and trash, clean and disinfect bed, frame, mattress, and pillow, remake bed, and other discharge policies and procedures
• Maintains supplies for the area, keeping cart properly stocked and neat, organizes areas, records daily and weekly cleaning reports any added maintenance as it comes up.
• Properly labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers
• Maintains equipment i.e., carts, vacuums, etc. keeping them clean and in good working order. Reports malfunctioning equipment and items needing repair in a timely manner.
• Participates in replacing sharp containers, transports trash and refuse, removes empty boxes
• Washing and putting away dishes. Following all sanitation standards.
• Follow café guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all time.
• The role involves physical demands such as standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 30lbs. The ability to push and pull supply carts weighing around 50lbs is necessary.
• Uses work time efficiently
• Housekeeping or EVS experience is needed
• Able to network and use a computer efficiently
• Performs other related duties as assigned or required
